With the restaurant named after its co-founders, the challenge was to curate a logo that reflected these individuals within the design, while simultaneously creating a standalone identity for the eatery that positions it as a contemporary venue for folks to come together and connect over great food.
The handwritten signatures of Fred and Max were merged to create a deeply personal logo that would have meaning to its owners. The three unbroken words connected in unison are symbolic of how sharing meals with those we hold close solidifies the ties that bind.
It’s no surprise that an eatery with several signature dishes chose a logo inspired by the owners very own signatures. Its simplicity matches the minimalist, modern aesthetics of the venue, with the cursive penmanship paying homage to its vintage touches.
